Vernetta Lopez Cross Stitches For Charity

RADIO and TV personality Vernetta Lopez takes to cross stitching and telling tales in her latest effort.

As bubbly and lively as we remember her in her television debut as Denise in the local sitcom Under One Roof (1995), the radio deejay with Gold 905, turns her hand at doing good for the Hmong tribe of northern Thailand.

The result of an earlier interaction with Radion International, a relief organisation for the vulnerable and marginalised communities, Vernetta decided to self-publish the Hmong story, The Magic Coin Purse, along with a cross stitch set. The children’s activity book is available at www.raulife.com and if you’d like to directly help the Hmong, pls visit www.radion-international.org.

This is the first of five books Vernetta intends to create to help the cause of Hmong women working well into their twilight years to make ends meet.
