FOLLOWING a challenging and fiery year, Samsung fires the first salvo in the new year with the Galaxy A (2017).
The Galaxy A enters its third iteration, offering more features that should belong in a higher-end phone. This mid-tier model is sleek, well finished and is avai
lable in Singapore in two sizes — the Galaxy A5 and A7. The A3 was sent hurtling from the Singapore galaxy.
The Galaxy A series, the smartphones are equipped with IP68-certified water and dust resistant capabilities. It comes with Samsung Pay and fast charging, and also enjoys a longer battery life.
Easy Selfies
In today’s me, myself and I generation, taking a selfie can be a challenge on a big phone. Samsung has come up with a camera button that can be positioned on the screen to fit your grip.
That’s quite cool…and handy.
The Samsung Galaxy A (2017) will be available from 21 January in three colours —Black Sky, Gold Sand and Peach Cloud. RRP $548 (A5) and $648 (A7). The Neon Flip Cover, which lights up when the phone rings, is also going to be available in black, gold, pink and blue. RRP $78.
From January 7 the Galaxy S7 Edge in black pearl will be available. RRP $1,198.
