IT IS the season for lights. Regardless the weather or the culture, the year-end festivities to celebrate Christmas and New Year bring out this innate desire to light up one’s life and city. While the holiday season is notorious for its commercial element, it’s also a last chance to add as much to the coffers to wind up the year on a high note. And what better way to entice them than by turning on the lights.
From Tokyo to London, Brooklyn to Budapest, the light ups are varied but add to the merriment of the season.
