EMIRATES launched its second daily A380 service from Dubai to Los Angeles, enabling it to serve nearly 1,000 passengers travelling to LA each day. Since July, Vienna, Austria has also been included to its list of European cities.
CATHAY PACIFIC is offering passengers 55 and above a special fare to Japan and South Korea for flights purchased online only. Japan fares from Singapore start from S$508 (with taxes) and to South Korea from S$528. Til Sept 30th.
SINGAPORE AIRLINES will launch non-stop flights between Singapore and San Francisco starting Sunday, October 23rd. Flight times will range from 14 to 18 hours, depending on direction and time of year. Planes used for this longest flight in SIA’s network are its newest acquistion, the A350-900, with 253 seats in business class, premium economy and economy class. Also on Oct 23rd, the airline will add its second daily direct between Singapore and Los Angeles.
ALL NIPPON AIRWAYS (ANA) introduces the cradle seat on the new B767-300 for travellers in business class. As the name suggests, the seats are designed to provide the optimum support and comfort in any position. The economy class features the fixed back shell seats which provide reclining comfort while not disturbing passengers behind.
