FIVE companies charged off with the Charger Award for their performances in 2018.

The five winners, selected by a process that involved the algorithm developed by Spiking, were whittled down from the listed companies on the SGX.

In a relatively gloomy year for investing, these five shone for their ability to continue delivering the goods.

The Charger Award is created by STORM magazine to acknowledge the listed companies that have performed beyond expectations. The winners are selected based on data derived from Spiking, an app that tracks the whale investors, and other criteria.

The Winners For 2018

Technology Category — AEM Holdings Ltd

Mapletree Commercial Trust is Singapore-focused REIT. Its portfolio of five properties include: VivoCity, PSA Building and Bank of America Merrill Lynch HarbourFront.

 

Industrial & Logistics Category — China Sunsine Chemical Holdings Ltd

Charger Award
Koh Choon Kong, Independent Director of China Sunsine Chemical Holdings Ltd receives the Charger Award from STORM publisher Kannan Chandran.

China Sunsine makes tyres for more than 65% of the top tyre manufacturers like Bridgestone, Michelin, Goodyear and Pirelli. It is the world’s largest producer of rubber accelerators in the world and the largest producer of insoluble sulphur in China.
