Cuisine Adventurers: PasirPanjangBoy

PRIVATE dining chefs PasirPanjangBoy — Tinoq Russell Goh and Dylan Chan —will be teaming up with Executive Chef Kawano Masahiko of Rêve to bring a fusion of flavours to the World Gourmet Summit.

The dinner event  from 6 to 8 July 2022 will blend Peranakan and Japanese cuisines, applying French techniques.

STORM-ASIA talks to the expressive Tinoq and his partner Dylan about being private dining chefs, their business enterprise — consulting for restaurants at Whistler in Canada and Hong Kong — as well as merchandising of sauces and kitchenware with Raffles Hotel.

Private dining at their Bukit Merah apartment is so in demand, there’s a waiting list of two years  to try their Peranakan cuisine.

Tinoq, who grew up in a kampung in Pasir Panjang started cooking when he was 9 years old and it’s a passion that has accompanied him, even as alternative careers in make-up and interior designing became part of his creative oeuvre.
